There are many players the Illini are pursuing but one recruit that many people haven’t mentioned when it comes to Illinois recruiting is point guard Paul Scruggs.
Scruggs is a Southport High School product out of Indianapolis, Indiana. He is a 4-star recruit that is ranked as the 32nd best player in the class of 2017.
The class of 2017 is extremely important for the Illini and Scruggs would go a long way in making it as special as fans are expecting.
On Twitter yesterday, the UA Indy Hoosiers announced that Scruggs cut his list down to eight programs for now.
