Anthony Higgs decided to make a commitment and picked the Illini over teams like Louisville and Virginia Tech, according to 247Sports. This is a nice get for the Illinois basketball team who was looking for another member of the class of 2018 to fill one of the three spots remaining.
Higgs is a 6-foot-8, 200-pound small forward from Perry Hall High School in Baltimore, Maryland. He is rated as a three-star recruit who is the No. 375 player in the class of 2018 and the No. 87 small forward in the nation.
Back on November 8, 2017, Higgs finalized his recruitment to play for Ole Miss.
