Some of the changes were good for the program. Illinois added some players who should help this team win games in the near future. Fans are also getting a better picture of what Brad Underwood wants to do with this team as far as roster construct goes. He wants a leaner team that can run the court.
There were some bad things the Illini team went through as well. I can’t count how many recruits Underwood and his coaching staff missed on this past offseason. It seemed like we were always so close but yet so far away at the same time.
