Former Illinois point guard Demetri McCamey was selected in the 2nd round by the Austin Spurs. This was a great selection because McCamey brings experience at the point guard position that not many teams have.
McCamey spent four seasons with the Illinois basketball team. He racked up the stats and was one of the main contributors to the team all four years.
