A player that has kept the Illini in the discussions during his recruitment is Drew Timme. He continues to narrow the scope of his recruitment and more details about his commitment have been finalized.
It was announced a few days ago that Timme is taking an official visit to Illinois this upcoming weekend on October 19. He will then take an official visit to Arizona sometime over the few weeks following his trip to Champaign. It looks like we now know a commitment date as well.
Back on October 9, the Pearce High School basketball Twitter account tweeted out that Timme will be making his commitment on Wednesday, November 14.
