It’s been a trying season for Illinois Baseball, and it will likely wrap up this weekend in Piscataway, but the team got some good news on Tuesday.
First baseman Kellen Sarver was named Big Ten Player of the Week for the first time in his career. He’s the 39th player in program history to take the honor and the first since Jack Yalowitz in March 2019.
