At the moment, Illinois’ recruiting class ranks 13 of 14 in the Big Ten and 71st in the country according to the 247 composite. Blame the rankings on the Illini Youth Movement of 2017 and 2018. With little attrition expected as the youth movement of 2017 comes of age, the Illini are expected to sign 15 players— 10 of whom are expected to sign during the early signing period.
