CHAMPAIGN — Illinois guard Malcolm Hill announced on Instagram on Friday night he will return for his senior season. The Second Team All-Big Ten selection did not mention entering his name in the NBA Draft, of which there was some speculation this offseason.
"I have had a great experience here at the University of Illinois," Hill said in the Instagram post. "I will be returning for my Senior season. I want to come back, get my degree, continue to develop my game and have an opportunity to play in the NCAA tournament. We have unfinished business, I owe it to this wonderful community, my teammates and our great fan base.
