Fighting Illini football has made the cut for one of their top class-of-2018 recruiting targets. Four-star wide receiver Micah Jones (Gurnee, IL) has informed Scout that his top five schools are Illinois, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Iowa, and Northwestern. The 6-foot-4 wideout is rated as the No. 128 overall player in the 247Sports rankings.

In addition to those five programs, Jones' Power 5 offer list includes Vanderbilt, Iowa State, and Syracuse.
