While the weekend started off badly for Illinois football fans, things got a little better on NFL Sunday.
The Illini have numerous players suiting up in the NFL. Pat Bryant had to wait to have his name called in this past NFL Draft, as he had 73 other players selected before him. But with pick No. 10 in the third round, the Denver Broncos took the talented Illini product.
That selection by the Broncos is now paying off. On Sunday, Bryant broke down the rookie door and burst onto the scene in the NFL.
