As dizzying amounts of money continue to be thrown about in NBA free agency, one former Fighting Illini basketball player has re-upped to stay with his current team for another season. Per multiple reports, Deron Williams and the Dallas Mavericks have agreed to terms on a new 1-year, $10 million contract. The NBA places a moratorium on these deals, so terms won't be officially announced until July 6.

Williams opted out of his old contract to seek a bigger payout, and he certainly accomplished that after doubling his salary.
