Dancer eager to see Anderson's latest

CHAMPAIGN — Members of the Illinois men’s tennis team won’t find themselves in London on Monday.

Unlike in late May when the Illini made a trip to Paris and Roland Garros to watch former Illini Kevin Anderson in action at the French Open.

Instead, coach Brad Dancer’s group will gather around computers, tablets, smartphones or televisions to see Anderson at noon (CDT) Monday.

Against the best player in the world. On Court No. 1. At Wimbledon.

All that’s standing between Anderson and his first quarterfinal appearance at a Grand Slam is Novak Djokovic. That’s all.
