CHAMPAIGN — Fans and reporters in East Central Illinois have already seen easy-access Bill Cubit. Tonight, the rest of the country will take a look.
During “The Journey” on BTN (9:30 C-U time), Cubit’s story is one of three features. Other segments are on Penn State and Maryland.
BTN cameras followed Cubit last Wednesday during an Illinois practice. And on Thursday, BTN tailed Cubit as he met with UI students on the Quad.
Some of Cubit’s fan interaction, including a funny bit with a student wearing the “wrong” hat, will be telecast.
From the moment Cubit arrived at Illinois as offensive coordinator before the 2013 season, he has been easy for the media.
