Best fit ... At this point in Williams’ career, a backup role on a playoff team is the ideal role for the former All-Star. Plenty of teams could use experienced floor generals, but one perennial playoff team sticks out after having just dealt its long-time starting points guard: the Atlanta Hawks. They’re all in on Dennis Schroder running the show in ATL, but D-Will would be an ideal mentor for the German import’s development, while sharing the court with the speedy guard could bring back memories of the Dee Brown glory days.
