In college, Bret Bielema played nose guard for the Iowa Hawkeyes. These days, the Illinois Fighting Illini head coach is still built like he could step onto the field for a defensive line.
Earlier in the week, the Illinois football social media team released a video of players signing a 20 MPH road sign, agreeing that they would hit that speed this season.
Bielema, who hasn't played football in over three decades, had a perfect response to the speed challenge: "I signed my 5 MPH club but apparently didn’t make this video."

A few of the players, such as junior defensive back Jaheim Clarke, even promised to go faster than 20 MPH, citing speeds of 22 and higher as they walked up to the speed limit signs.
