WESTFIELD, Ind. — Drew Timme corralled a loose ball and kept it himself for a coast-to-coast dunk to open Drive Nation's game against Nike Team Florida on Saturday morning at the Pacers Athletic Center.
After losing the night before to Team CP3, it was the start Timme and Drive Nation needed. And one the Texas-based Nike EYBL program turned into a 99-76 blowout against a team featuring the No. 2 player in the 2019 class (Vernon Carey) and the No. 7 2020 prospect (Scottie Barnes).
Timme more than held his own against Carey — a 6-foot-10 power forward that has all the blue bloods circling in his recruitment.
