Let’s be honest: A big chunk of the 69,000-plus at Lincoln Financial Field were not there to see the Owls. They were rooting for Penn State. But Temple ruined their day, winning 27-10 for its first victory against the Nittany Lions since 1941. The defense led the way for Temple, recording 10 sacks and holding Penn State scoreless during the final three quarters. Impressive. Thanks to the upset, we now know that Temple is coached by Matt Rhule.
