CHAMPAIGN — Illinois’ focus on the 2017 recruiting class is primarily on the home state with commitments already from Javon Pickett and Da’Monte Williams, with Jeremiah Tilmon and Jordan Goodwin the top two remaining targets.

But the Illini could dip back into Wisconsin in the 2017 class after landing Milwaukee Washington point guard Te’Jon Lucas for next season.

Milwaukee Riverside junior Terrence Lewis, who was named the co-MVP of the Milwaukee City Conference along with Lucas this season, was on campus Wednesday for an unofficial visit as first reported by Scout.com.

Lewis helped guide Riverside to a 22-4 season and 12-0 finish in the Milwaukee City Conference to claim the league title by a half game over Lucas’ Purgolders.
