BELLEVILLE — Not much can keep Jordan Goodwin out of the gym at Althoff High School.
The Crusaders wrapped up their 32-2 season with a Class 3A state championship — a first for the school — 22 days ago. Goodwin immediately began practices with the St. Louis Eagles, his AAU season set to begin April 16 at a Nike EYBL event in Brooklyn, N.Y.
But if he can get in some additional time, another workout, he does it.
“He’s always trying to get in the gym,” Althoff coach Greg Leib said. “I think he’s paying off the custodians so they can end around me.
