FARMINGTON, Utah – Following a performance in which he put up 281 passing yards with three touchdowns paired with 96 rushing yards and a game-sealing 59-yard touchdown run, Idaho Vandals quarterback Joshua Wood was named Big Sky Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week.

In Idaho's 37-30 victory over St. Thomas, Wood, a native of Graham, Wash., didn't just wow the crowd with the big numbers he put it – it was how he put those numbers up that really impressed. One play in the first half, Wood escaped pressure in the backfield and scrambled to his left, then whipped around to his right while looking downfield, before uncorking a long pass to Emmerson Cortez-Menjivar for a 43-yard gain.
