Women's Basketball Sets Three-Point Record in Win Over Lewis-Clark State

MOSCOW, Idaho -- The University of Idaho women's basketball team (1-0,0-0 BSC) defeated Lewis-Clark State College 95-46 to open the 2021-22 season at ICCU Arena on Tuesday night. The Vandals recorded a school-record 21 three-point field goals and featured four double-digit scorers to earn the 49-point victory.

Graduate student Allison Kirby had an all-around performance for the Vandals, tallying 10 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists. Sophomore sharpshooter Sydney Gandy led the team in scoring with 20 points on 4 of 10 from behind the three-point line.

Newcomers Louise Forsyth and Jordan Allred made their first-career appearance in an Idaho uniform and they did not disappoint.
