OGDEN, Utah – Kira Witte notched a career-high 10 saves and Savannah Foster scored a rebound goal in the 24th minute to give Idaho Vandal soccer a 1-0 win over Weber State to start Big Sky play Thursday night in Ogden.
The Wildcats put on the pressure early, recording three shots on goal and four total shots in the first ten minutes of the game before the Vandal offense found its footing.
After three shots, the Vandals got on the board when Maya Hamilton sent a beautiful cross into the box that was headed by Annika Farley to the goal.
