VANDALS OF THE WEEK: Charles Akanno of football and Juliana deTar earn Vandals of the Week after strong performances over the weekend. Akanno recorded career-highs of nine tackles and three pass breakups against No. 11 Eastern Washington on Saturday. He earned STATS LLC FCS National Defensive Player of the Week, Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week and College Sports Madness FCS National Defensive Player of the Week. DeTar netted the game-winner for Idaho in the 89th minute to take down North Dakota on Sunday.
