Senior post Ali Forde led the Vandals to an 84-63 victory over Portland State Thursday, scoring 17 points and collecting 11 rebounds in the win.
Forde also moved up in Vandal history during the win, passing Alyssa Charleston’s fourth place record of 855 rebounds. Forde now has a total of 862 rebounds throughout her career.
Charleston, a former Vandal herself, was the announcer of the game and congratulated Forde after her performance tonight.
“(Forde) has always been a great rebounder from the time she got here,” Idaho head coach Jon Newlee said. “She’s extremely athletic. She’s got a great nose for the ball and she’s a very aggressive rebounder.
