@VandalsWBB Toppled by Hawai’i

HONOLULU, Hawai'i-- Idaho struggled from the field and despite a third-quarter surge from Taylor Pierce (20 points), was unable to overcome first-half shooting woes in a 69-61 rout to the University of Hawai'i Wednesday night at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.

The Vandals drop to 3-4 on the season while UH (2-7) picks up second win on the year.

Taylor Pierce led the Vandals in scoring and rebounds with 20 points and seven boards. Pierce collects her fourth 20-plus point game on the season and 15th in her career. Mikayla Ferenz found a rhythm late in the game adding 18 points and six rebounds.
