OGDEN, Utah—Idaho, the 2016 Big Sky Tournament Champions, were picked to repeat as conference champs by the Big Sky coaches the conference announced on Tuesday. The Vandals totaled 110 points and four first-place votes. Idaho was picked second by the league's media.

Idaho finished last season with a 24-10 record, went 13-5 in the Big Sky. The Vandals won the tournament as the league's No. 3 seed, advancing to the NCAA Tournament for the third time in four years.

"I say this all time when these polls come out," head coach Jon Newlee commented.
