MOSCOW, Idaho – Throughout the 2016-17 season GoVandals.com will be publishing interviews with every member of the Idaho women's basketball team. This week we feature freshman guard Cherita Daugherty.
Daugherty, a Vancouver, Wash., native, joined the Vandals in August. She played at Prairie H.S., where she was named the All-Region Girls Basketball Player of the Year in 2015. Daugherty leads all Vandal freshman with 13.0 minutes played per game. In her seven games she is averaging 3.0 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists.
