CHENEY, Wash.—Idaho men’s tennis improved to 2-1 in the Big Sky with its 4-3 win over Northern Arizona on Saturday. The Vandals went back and forth with the Lumberjacks on the neutral court, going all the way down to the wire.
“Today was a roller coaster,” head coach Abid Akbar noted. “It was as close as they get. It is nice to start our conference stretch with the ‘W.’ We have three consecutive Big Sky matches to follow. Three more ‘W’s’ to get.”
Northern Arizona picked up the day’s first point by claiming two out of the three doubles matches.
