Vandals Topple Drake 42-14 to Earn Eck's First Win

MOSCOW, Idaho – The Vandal offense racked up 447 yards of offense, and the Idaho defense held Drake to just 210 yards to earn head coach Jason Eck the first win of his career in his first home game as the Idaho head coach.

Jermain Johnson had a stellar all-around game, catching three passes for 92 yards and a touchdown and returning four punts for 92 yards and another score.

Idaho quarterbacks Gevani McCoy and Jack Layne combined for 288 yards passing and a touchdown from McCoy to Johnson on the opening Vandal drive.
