COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - Idaho women's golf sits in a tie for second place following the first two rounds of the Coeur d'Alene Resort Collegiate Invitational Monday, at the Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course. The Vandals are tied with Nevada at 15-over, trailing only tournament-host Gonzaga. Vicky Tsai continued the hot start to her sophomore season, shooting 1-over through 36 holes. Tsai is tied for third entering the final round.
The Vandals scrambled to shoot an 8-over 292 in the first round. The four counting scores included 22 bogeys, but 12 birdies and an eagle helped keep Idaho in the hunt.
