RENO, Nev.—The Idaho men’s basketball team served up a cold dish of revenge on Thursday. The Vandals defeated Eastern Washington, 77-73, in the quarterfinal matchup of the Big Sky Tournament. The Vandals led for a majority of the contest, keeping EWU at arms-length the entire second half.
Idaho led by as many as 10 points in the first half. The Vandals took a 41-37 lead in the break. Eastern Washington kept chipping away at the Vandal lead in the second, but Idaho answered every blow. The Eagles made it a three-point game with 2:02 to go.
