MISSOULA, Mont. – The Vandals (1-18, 0-7 BSC) were swept by Montana (7-11, 3-3 BSC), 17-25, 12-25, 16-25, on Thursday night at Dahlberg Arena.
Five Vandals posted three or more kills while setter recorded a team-high 14 assists to lead Idaho offensively. and paced the Idaho defense, tallying four blocks and 22 digs, respectively.
Montana won the first set, 25-17. Idaho had its struggles on the attack, hitting .154 with five errors in the set, while the Grizzlies hit .316.
The second frame went in favor of the Grizzlies, as they earned a 25-12 result.
