Vandals sixth at NCAA regional

KOHLER, Wis. – The University of Idaho men’s golf team fell just shy of advancing to the NCAA National Championship Tournament. But it wasn’t because of anything the Vandals didn’t do; instead it was what the Baylor Bears did do.

“Hats off to the Baylor Bears,” said Idaho coach David Nuhn, whose team was six-under par during the final round of the Kohler Regional and even par for the 54-hole tournament. “It wasn’t our poor play. We didn’t play poorly; we played great. Baylor played amazing.”

The Vandals had a final day with two three-under scores and two even par rounds counting.
