Vandals Overwhelm Hornets in Road Win

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Idaho men's basketball team took down Sacramento State, 67-53, on Monday evening on the road. The Vandals (6-15, 2-8 BSC) led wire-to-wire, handing the Hornets (11-9, 4-7 BSC) their second-straight home loss.

THE GAME
Trevon Allen opened the scoring at The Nest, and went on to score the first seven points for the Vandals. A jumper by the senior gave the visitors a 4-2 lead with 16:53 to play in the first, and Idaho led the rest of the game. The Vandals led by as many as 18 in the first half, and held a 16-point lead, 39-23, at the break.
