RESULTS WSU, Montana State, Seattle U., Utah State, Eastern Washington, Montana and Gonzaga were present on Friday in Pullman. Melissa Huchet got an opening-round win, defeating Peggy Rooke of Seattle U. in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2. Lauren Spataro also earned a win, taking down Gonzaga's Tamara Anderson, 7-6 (3), 6-1. Marta Magalhaes defeated Katie Day of Gonzaga, 7-5, 6-2. Ilana Oleynik was in a tough match with Marta Heinen of Eastern Washington, and eventually came out on top, 7-5, 4-6, 6-3.
PULLMAN, Wash. – Idaho women's tennis made the quick trip over to Pullman for the Cougar Classic, hosted by Washington State. Five individuals advanced, as well as one doubles team.
