MOSCOW, Idaho – Several Vandals came out on top on Saturday, as Idaho opened up the outdoor season with the University of Idaho Invitational at the Dan O’Brien Track and Field Complex.
“These early meets are about getting out and competing and doing what you can from there,” said director of track and field Tim Cawley. “I thought the team did great. I don’t think you could ask for much better this time of year. We had some good sun, some decent performance and the team supported each other all day.”
The women won seven individual events on the day.
