PULLMAN, Wash. – The University of Idaho women's golf team is continuing its low-scoring ways of last spring and is just one stroke back of 36-hole leader Washington State University at the annual WSU Cougar Cup.
Sophomore Sophie Hausmann, who did return home to Moscow until midnight Sunday after playing in the World Amateur Team Championship in Mexico, went 73-71 for a 144 – tied for third. Right behind her are fellow sophomore Michelle Kim and senior Amy Hasenoehrl with 145s. Next are freshmen Clara Moyano and Laura Gerner in a tie for 18th at 150.
