HOUSTON- Maren Seljevold took third place in the three-meter diving competition Thursday, at the 2018 WAC Swimming and Diving Championships, leading a team effort that saw Idaho score 56 points in the event and remain in second place through the second day of the meet. The Vandals (237 points) are 18 points clear of third-place Grand Canyon (219) but trail Northern Arizona (380).
Seljevold posted a 298.85 in finals to secure a bronze medal and her best-career finish in any event at the conference championships. The Vandals racked up points thanks to sending three through to the championship final and qualifying three more to the consolation final.
