MOSCOW, Idaho- The University of Idaho Women's basketball team (18-9, 13-5) improved to 13-5 in conference play with a 70-57 win over Southern Utah (16-11, 10-8) at home in Memorial gym. The Vandals outscored Southern Utah 21-13 in the fourth period to fight off a Thunderbird comeback. Four Vandals scored in double-figures, led by senior Lizzy Klinker with 23 points.
THE GAME
Lizzy Klinker opened the game with a layup immediately following the jump ball. The Vandals opened the contest on a 10-2 run in the first four minutes, including eight points from Lizzy.
