Vandals improve

CHANDLER, Ariz. - The University of Idaho men's golf team had its ups and downs this week en route to a tie for 12th at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic.

"We had it going early but then some last miscues cost us some much needed strokes and we weren't able to climb out of our round-one hole," coach David Nuhn said.

Sophomore Daniel Sutton was for the Vandals with a 216, which earned him a tie for 25th. Ian Kim tied for 45th with a 220, and freshman Enrique Marin had a bogey-free final-round 69 which led to a 221 and a tie for 52nd.
