COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. – The Idaho Vandal men's golf team finished 10th among a strong field and tough conditions at the SeattleU Redhawk Invite at Chambers Bay Golf Course on Puget Sound in Washington.
The tournament was cut to just one round after two rounds were canceled Monday due to conditions at the course.
"I'm really proud of the guys today," head coach David Nuhn said. "They battled all round and we knew with a one-round event that every shot was going to matter today. The mindset was to be the most mentally tough team out there on the conditions, if we could do that we would have success.
