OGDEN, Utah – Idaho fell, 2-1, to Weber State in double overtime on Friday evening. The Vandals' very own, , scored first, but the Wildcats' second goal in overtime finished the game.
The first 30 minutes of the game were a back-and-forth battle between Idaho and the Wildcats. Following a throw in near the goal box in the 37th minute, Schmidt fired into the low right corner, scoring her first goal of the season, assisted by . Despite five shots on goal throughout the game, this would be the Vandals' last finish of the night.
Fairly quickly into the second half, Weber scored their first goal to tie up the game.
