The University of Idaho Vandals competed well at their first competition of the season, but it was not enough to take down Colorado State as the Vandals fell 180-118 on Friday night in Colorado.
Coach Mark Sowa was not discouraged with the results.
"Not the overall result we were looking for, but there were some real positives for our first meet of the year," Sowa said.
Some of those positives were the diving competition. Janelle Lucas posted the highest score of the 3 meter competition, and Indiya Williams clinched second in the 3 meter competition.
