RENO, Nev.—The Idaho Vandals women’s tennis team fell, 4-3, at Nevada on Tuesday. The loss ended Idaho’s two-match winning streak, dropping them to 9-6 on the season.
Lucia Badillos and Marianna Petrei opened the day for Idaho with a 6-0 win in No. 3 doubles. Nevada came back to win the next two pairings, to take the doubles point to start.
“It was a tough loss for us today,” head coach Mariana Cobra said. “Nevada is a good team, especially on its home courts. Starting singles behind 1-0 was tough on us.
