MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho Athletics wrapped up a tremendous semester in the classroom, tying a department record with a 3.22 grade-point average. In all, 213 student-athletes finished the semester at or above 3.0, while 68 earned perfect 4.0 GPAs.
"I couldn't be more proud of the efforts of our student-athletes in the classroom this fall," said Director of Athletics, Terry Gawlik. "To tie the department record for GPA is an incredible achievement and I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish in the spring.
"We take academics very seriously here and could not have accomplished this record-tying GPA without the help of our academic staff and the Vandal Scholarship Fund.
