SPOKANE, Wash.—All eyes turned to the No. 5 court as the Idaho women's tennis team did battle with Gonzaga on Friday. The deciding point took three hours to conclude with Gonzaga getting the slight edge, gaining the 4-3 win.
Idaho (4-3) recovered from an early No. 3 doubles loss to win the next two matches. Marianna Petrei and Lucia Badillos turned in a 7-6 (5) win on the No. 1 court. Maria Tavares and Ana Batiri closed out the doubles point with a tiebreak win of their own, taking No.
