OGDEN, Utah – The Idaho women's soccer team (5-6-0) were edged, 1-0, by Northern Arizona (7-2-1) in the Big Sky Tournament Semifinal on Thursday afternoon. The Vandals dominated the second half, but a penalty kick goal in the 15th minute was the difference.
The Jacks started the game seeing more of the ball, getting off the first three shots. Jadyn Hanks had back-to-back chances in the 14th minute but was unable to finish. In the 15th minute, a handball was called in the box, and Madison Montgomery converted the penalty kick to give NAU a 1-0 lead.
