LA JOLLA, Calif. – Idaho men's tennis (0-4) came up short, 4-2, at UC San Diego on Sunday afternoon. and the doubles unit were the two point scorers on the day.
Idaho struck first, tallying a pair of victories on courts one and three to clinch the doubles point. The Tritons started off with a win on court two before the Vandal pair of and Lai won at No. 3 by a score of 6-2. and clinched doubles with a 7-5 result to give the Vandals a 1-0 lead.
The Tritons responded with back-to-back singles victories as and Medica fell on courts five and one, respectively.
