GREELEY, Colorado – No. 7 seeded Idaho came up short against No. 2 seed Northern Colorado in the Big Sky Conference quarterfinal on Wednesday. The Vandals dropped the first set 25-17 and were unable to take the second or third set, falling 25-14 in each.
Avery Housley and Bea Whitling led the Vandals in kills with six each. Alaina Lacey had a team-high 13 digs.
Idaho took an early 4-2 advantage in the first set following an Avery Housley kill. Northern Colorado took the lead from the Vandals and used a 6-0 run to lead 18-8.
