MISSOULA, Mont. – Idaho soccer got back to its winning ways on Sunday at the Montana Invitational, defeating Vermont, 1-0, to pick up the weekend split.
"I thought we did well. We kind of dominated on the stat line," said head coach . "We were organized. Being dangerous on set pieces gives us a confidence boost. And with the one goal lead we never looked back and saw the game out."
The Vandals dominated the possession early on, keeping Vermont on its heels for the opening 20 minutes. Idaho, however, wasn't able to capitalize until late in the frame.
